2024 EUP Festival of Music

The EUP Festival of Music is a multi-day series of workshops where the Soo Theatre brings in adjudicators (master teachers) to work with Soo Theatre students, in addition to other students and adults in our schools and community.  The adjudication covers a wide range of disciplines including voice, strings, woodwinds, and piano on solo works in addition to choirs, orchestras, and other ensembles.   

The master classes are treated like recital performances.  After each performance, the music professional has an opportunity to work with the student(s) or group.  This event started in 2012 as the EUP Festival of Voice to provide a local adjudication festival for our area choir programs.  In the spring of 2019, it expanded to include strings, followed by piano in 2020 and woodwinds in 2021.
