Creative Writing Camp!
Instructor: Gabbie Pepin
If you know any young, creative people who love to write, consider signing them up for the Creative Writing Camp at the Soo Theatre this summer! Gabbie Pepin is a 2020 graduate of Butler University and is known for many roles in Soo Theatre Productions.
This camp is an opportunity for your child to practice their writing skills while learning craft elements of creative writing. Whether your child’s interests lie in fiction or creative non-fiction, prose or poetry, they will learn helpful tips and advice for becoming stronger writers.
Choose from one of three week-long sessions available throughout the summer!
Session 1: June 8-12, 11AM-12PM
Session 2: July 6-10, 11AM-12PM
Session 3: August 3-7, 11AM-12PM
Two twenty-minute afternoon sessions will also be scheduled for each student to have one-on-one discussion, exploration, and tutoring regarding their individual work. Middle-school ages (11+) encouraged! High school students also looking for writing guidance or an expressive outlet are welcome, but the camp will be geared toward younger students.
