Glenn Seven Allen and Karen Hughes Beacom sing RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN, Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 6 o’clock in the evening – WIth special guests Lola Kennedy, voice; Cynda Coleman, piano; Maggie Twining, cello; and Lorie Zenker, violin.
This evening will include a very special pre-concert given by STARS Summer Camp students during the 5 o’clock dinner hour. Performers Iyla Beaulieu, Randi Bumstead, Turner Callaghan, Jack Callaghan, Dee Compton, Mattie Goff, Anna Kowalski, Faith Nayback, Sara Russell and Tess Woolever will sing songs from The Sound of Music, Cinderella and more! Guests are invited to bring a picnic, spread out on their blankets or simply bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music.
Located four miles south of Pickford off of M-129, the beautiful grounds of Northwoods Christian Camp will serve as the setting for this outdoor concert.
The performances will be held on the lawn outside of the main lodge. Guests will be asked to sit socially distanced from members of other households for the performance.
In accordance with the Michigan guidelines for outdoor gatherings in close proximity to others, masks will be required.
Admission is by donation and reservations can be made by emailing karenbeacom@sootheatre.org. Donations can be mailed directly to Soo Theatre at 534 Ashmun Street, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783 or made online at www.sootheatre.org. Seating priority will be given to guests who have made an advanced reservation. Donations will also gratefully be accepted at the “door!”.
